Peak International Limited Promotes Splendid Zuo to VP, GM
NEWARK, Calif., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Peak International Limited (NASDAQ:PEAK) today reported that it had promoted Splendid Zuo to the position of Vice President, General Manager of Peak Plastics and Metal Products (International) Limited, the company's principal operating subsidiary in Hong Kong.
Splendid Zuo is a PRC national who graduated from Cheng Du Science & Technology University in 1993 with a major in polymer and molding design. Mr. Zuo earned his MBA degree from Massey University, New Zealand in May 2004.
Cal Reed, Peak's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer said, "I am pleased that we were able to promote Splendid to so important a position. Splendid has been with Peak since 1994, and has worked his way up the ranks starting as a qualification engineer and holding various positions over the years, including process engineer, quality engineer, engineering director and engineering vice president. Among Mr. Zuo's major accomplishments is his participation as co-inventor of the company's proprietary molding compound, for which patents have been filed."
Splendid will continue to reside in the People Republic of China and will be responsible for the company's factory in Shenzhen that is operated pursuant to an operating agreement with an independent third party.
